Green may not be the first color that comes to mind when you think of the fall season. The sunny yellow green and

the pale celadon colors definitely remind us more of spring and summer. But when you go deeper into the world of

Kelly green and emerald, things start to warm up and get exciting! The color green is associated with growth and

abundance and can evoke feelings of refreshment, peace, and security.

Design Tips and Details

This design is anchored by the emerald green velvet sofa. It is elegant without being too “stuffy.” This rich color and

feel of the fabric definitely would make me want to curl up with a good book or watch a movie in this space. As

always, texture plays a big role in the design. This amazing rug is a mixture of wool and leather! Take a closer look at

it in the shopping list. It is so interesting! The lacquer finish on the side table and the marble table top add

dimension. I love the unusual shape of both the mirror and the light fixture. This design mixes modern, traditional,

and mid century elements to create a unique look. Don’t be afraid to try something a little out of the box! You want
