Let’s start with the biggest piece in the room. You’ve got to have a comfortable sofa! Thankfully that doesn’t mean it can’t be stylish as well. I love the classic clean lines of the neutral sofa.

These accent chairs are seriously cool! The woven rattan chair with its sexy shape definitely makes a statement. I love the modern lines and natural wood and the design of each of these chairs make them so interesting. Pieces that are casual yet have an elegant feel are always a winner in my book.

For your coffee table, choose something out of the ordinary! Adding texture gives a coastal feel without overdoing it on the beach theme. A table with an unusual shape or material will create an interesting spot for your friends to gather around.

Anchor your space with a rug. Sometimes the rug will be your focal point. In this case, the coastal inspired rug provides a subtle background for the furnishings and help soften the look and feel of the room. Remember to always choose the largest rug that will work in your space.
